Like most of us, I’ve been promoted throughout my career: I rose the ranks to Vice President of Sales, responsible for 70+ people and the cultural transformation of a world-renowned cruise line’s sales organization. In that role, I became known for accelerating the success of other leaders and was headhunted into an executive coaching role with the digital sports company, Fanatics.

Here’s the thing: When I was first promoted into these leadership roles, I had no training or support in how to be a leader. So, I modeled myself after great leaders of the 21st century. I read their books and studied their strategies. I spoke with Bob Chapman on truly human leadership, hosted a professional development cruise with Kathy Caprino, and met thought leaders like Simon Sinek and Jay Shetty.

It was the experience of learning how to lead that led me to coaching. In the words of Simon Sinek, “The greatest contribution of a leader is to make other leaders.” I consider coaching not just my contribution, but my calling: To unlock potential and open doors for others. I left Fanatics in 2025 to start my own coaching business—all while opening doors for young women in Kenya as CEO of One Girl Can.

My career has led to this moment: I became the coach I needed then, so I can be the coach you need now. Maybe your career advanced like mine, and you became a leader without any formal leadership training. Or maybe you’re not a leader yet.
